Oyin Handmade Hair Dew Quenching Lotion is a milky blend conditioning spray that seals the hair cuticle to lock in moisture, replenishes shine and de-frizzes without causing product buildup. Creamy and non-greasy, it is light enough for every day use. The lotion is Curly Girl Method Approved and has a pH level of 4.5.

✔ Fine, medium or thick texture (strand diameter)

Styling Tip: Prior to braiding, twisting the hair or creating an up-do, apply the hair dew and then follow up with the Burnt Sugar Pomades to seal the ends.

Hydrating product. I find it moisturising with a greasy finish and a perfect product for layering other products. my hair does feel like there is build-up. it’s light with a floral smell. I would recommend

I knew about Oyin handmade 8 years ago and was able to purchase through their US website when they didn’t have international customs unavailability. I did remember liking the Shine&define; cream serum. I recently this autumn bought a few products including this leave-in. Its quite moisturizing, soft, lightly detangles and smells nice (some of OH products are a bit over scented for me). I use it underneath the Burnt Pommade to seal in moisture then usually wrap my two braids and whole head under a silk scarf for a fully moisturized and smooth touch. It definitely “changed”/upgraded my hair managability and curls (3C-4A). I like to use it after a ghassoul (moroccan argile) mask on washing days = amaaazing popping curls

Fast dispatch and speedy delivery from simply moi. Otón is perfect for low porosity hair – light and so moisturising, great to use either alone or to hold in all that moisture even better, a small amount of an oil/grease. Thank you Oyin and Simply Moi!
United KingdomGreat Moisture for high porosity hair
I really love what this hair lotion does for my hair. I apply it after co-washing and deep conditioning with SheaMoisture Moisture Correct Masque. It sinks into my hair then I apply almond/avocado/castor oil mixture and my hair stays moisturized for days! Fortunately the oils cover the fragrance of the Hair Dew which I find a bit too strong but I like that it doesn’t cause any product buildup so I can use it to refresh my hair between washes.
