My love for beauty started as a child, running around in Jamaica and finding plants and fruits to create lipstick. After going natural in my late teens, I noticed a void in the beauty industry for hair products made with “real” natural ingredients. At age 22, I launched Alikay Naturals in 2008. In 2011, I created the ground-breaking hair care technique called, The L.O.C. Method™ that is used by millions of women around the world to moisturise their hair properly. Growing up in a Jamaican countryside has a lot of influence on my commitment to beauty without compromise; sourcing ingredients responsibly and advocating for fair trade.
