For wavy-curly hair types: Shampoo and condition hair. Section hair and detangle each section using Inahsi Aloe Hibiscus Leave-in Conditioner & Detangler. Apply gel to hair quickly and evenly, working it in deeply with your fingers. For more defined curls, scrunch or twist your hair. Flip hair upside down and scrunch product in evenly to create more volume.
For curly-kinky hair types: Shampoo and condition hair. Section hair and detangle each section using Aloe Hibiscus Leave-in Conditioner/Detangler. Apply light oil or Island Breeze Moisturizing Hair Whip to each section then pull gel through hair from root to tip. Re-wet hair for any dry sections.
Styling tips: Bantu knots, twists, braids, finger coils, rod/straw/roller set and twist/braid-outs.

I love how this product works! It is very moisturizing for me though, so I had to scale back on how much I used and make sure I didn’t use it with a really moisturizing line up. I DO think the scent is too strong; I would definitely prefer it to be more subtle.

Custard has a lovely texture, the scent is nice and subtle, it enhances curls and waves really nicely and is lightweight and gives a light hold, I really like it. However, I have to subtract one star, because it makes my scalp itch, even though I am trying to keep it on the hair only. I am highly sensitive though, so this may be only me. I have not heard of anyone else having the same issue.

Bought for the first time and I used it in my daughter hair but it left white residue and flakes likes crazy and I had to wash her hair again
